The Zinn Education Project, a collaboration between Teaching for Change and Rethinking Schools, promotes and supports the teaching of people’s history in middle and high school classrooms across the country. In preparation for our tenth anniversary and with more than 70,000 registered users, the Zinn Education Project seeks a Development Associate to help increase this impact and sustainability of our work.
The Development Associate will work closely with the Zinn Education leadership to implement a comprehensive development strategy for donor cultivation and stewardship. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for social justice, nonprofit fundraising experience, and culturally responsive communication skills to work with a diverse staff, leadership, funders, and constituency.
