Donate to Civil Rights Teaching Book

John_Carlos_DONATETeaching for Change will publish a new edition of our award-winning book, Putting the Movement Back into Civil Rights Teaching, in 2018. The content will be completely re-organized and much of the material will be new.

We can’t produce this new edition without your support. Make a donation today so that PK-12 students learn about the grassroots, people’s history of the Civil Rights Movement. They will learn that the movement began way before 1954, continues today, and was driven by many unsung heroes including women, young people, and rural farmers.

When you donate $100 or more, we will thank you in the new edition of the book and on our website. Please make a donation today so that a fully revised and updated edition, with your name in it, can be featured on the shelves of the National Museum of African American History and Culture and reach museum visitors from across the country. Please join this growing list of donors.
