In addition to our regular program work, we facilitate projects that enrich conversations on social justice education or that highlight issues/topics that are overlooked or missing entirely from public education.

Ask Me About
Teaching for Change’s “Ask Me About” campaigns are designed to draw attention to key issues that are often left out of the curriculum. The campaigns are launched during a heritage month with the goal of encouraging instruction about the issue all year long. Read more.
Teach the Beat
A project to develop lessons and share teaching ideas for infusing the history and music of go-go in middle and high school social studies, language arts, math, music, and/or D.C. history classes in conjunction with the book, The Beat! Go-Go Music from Washington, D.C. Read more.
